How the desktop application handles local Books, GST and licence information.
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This policy applies to the GSTR-2B Reconciliation desktop application provided by Samriddhi Associates.
The application may process files selected by the user containing supplier names, GSTINs, invoice numbers, invoice dates, taxable values, tax amounts, credit notes and related reconciliation information. This data is used to prepare the requested reconciliation report on the user's computer.
Where the user chooses a Tally-fetch function, the application communicates with the locally accessible Tally instance for the selected company and period. It does not use the user's Tally data for unrelated purposes.
Licence Key, registered contact details, installation or device identifier, licence status and validation timestamps may be transmitted securely to the Samriddhi Associates licence service. Invoice-level Books and GSTR-2B records are not required for licence validation.
Imported files, settings and generated reconciliation reports remain in locations controlled by the user. The user can delete those files through the operating system. Licence records may be retained for activation, support, fraud prevention and licence administration.
Samriddhi Associates does not sell reconciliation data. Data may be disclosed only when required by law or when the user asks for support and voluntarily provides files or screenshots.
Users must protect GST and accounting files, restrict access to authorised persons and review the generated report before relying on it for return filing, ITC decisions or accounting entries.
