How the desktop application handles local statement, Tally and licence information.
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This policy applies to the Bank Statement to Tally desktop application provided by Samriddhi Associates.
The application may process bank statement files selected by the user, including transaction dates, narrations, reference numbers, debit amounts, credit amounts, balances and mapping choices. This information is used only for the requested review, mapping and Tally-posting workflow.
The application does not sign in to the user's bank account, request bank OTPs, initiate payments or transfer money. It reads only the statement data supplied by the user.
The application may read ledger or company information from, and post user-approved voucher data to, the locally accessible Tally instance. The user controls which company and ledgers are selected.
Licence Key, registered contact details, installation or device identifier, licence status and validation timestamps may be transmitted securely to the Samriddhi Associates licence service. Bank statement transaction details are not required for licence validation.
Statement files, mappings, logs and any exported records remain in local locations controlled by the user. The user can clear application data or delete files through the application or operating system where available. Licence records may be retained for activation, support, fraud prevention and administration.
Samriddhi Associates does not sell bank statement or Tally data. Data may be disclosed only when required by law or when the user voluntarily supplies files or screenshots for support.
The user must secure statement files, verify the active Tally company, review every mapping and inspect posted vouchers before relying on them for accounting or compliance.
